Jessie LaRue Elmore was born on January 29, 1936 in Grapeland, Texas to Preston and Willie. Jessie attended some college before coming on board with Texas Instruments where she worked for most of her career. Jessie was married to her husband Charles for nearly 50 years before his passing. She enjoyed spending her time with family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jessie is survived by her daughter Vicki and her husband Al, as well as by her sister Vella Clark and also her sister-in-law Margie Baugh. Jessie is also survived by her grandchildren: Danielle, Brittney, and Al III, and her great grandchildren Alexis and Farrah. The funeral service will take place at Ted Dickey Funeral Home on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 10 am with a visitation the night prior from 6-8.
