John Martin Gargiulo

Jack was born on January 24, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois, a son of Jerry and Mary (Conde) Gargiulo.

He married Barbara Ann Bernard on June 27, 1964 in Brookfield, Illinois. She survives in Plano. He is also survived by his brother Gene and sister Jo Anne, sons Tim, Mark, and Dan Gargiulo, and grandchildren Jordan, Ashleigh, Grace, Matthew, and Eva Gargiulo.

Jack dedicated himself to publishing, working for Paulist Press after graduating from DePaul University in Chicago, and later DLM - RCL. In 1980, Jack and family moved from Wheaton, IL to Plano, TX, where he continued with RCL-Tabor-Thomas More Publishing until retirement. He was an avid cinephile and frustrated golfer.

The Funeral Mass for John will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 10:30 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church located at 2700 West Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, TX 75023.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 1:30 PM at the Plano Mutual Cemetery.
