Johnny R Harrold

Mr. Johnny Rueben Harrold, 85, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Baylor Scott & White T. Boone Pickens Cancer Hospital. Mr. Harrold was born August 23, 1935 in Benton, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his father; David Anderson, mother; Irene (Long) Harrold, two sisters; Faye and Jeanette and two brothers; Eddie and Lee.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years of marriage Shirley (Cleveland) Harrold, children; Linda Hammontree (Damon), Wanda Jones (Mark), his grandchildren; Elicia Gannon, Courtney Perkins (Michael), three great-grandchildren; Jordan, Penelope, Dawson and nieces; Tonya and Rhonda.

Johnny was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, deep sea fishing, traveling and tinkering on anything he could get his hands on. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #729, American Legion, and retired from General Motors after 31years. He was an active member of the Methodist Church in Georgia and served as an Usher.
