She was born on June 29, 1958 in El Paso, Texas, the daughter of Charles and Mitsuko “Mitsy” Offenbacker.
Linda could do (and has done) anything she put her mind to. Her determination and perseverance forged her way through countless obstacles throughout life. The world is less without her, but she provides an example for us all. Her integrity was unmatched. She could be trusted implicitly with all the wealth of the land, or a simple secret. She was a faithful and devoted daughter looking after her parents in their later years of life. Linda's love, warmth, and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and by many friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and by James Offenbacker, her youngest brother.
She is survived by Jeff Garrison, her loving partner and closest friend of 22 years; by her brothers, Raymond “Gene” Offenbacker (Lisa) of Benton, Arkansas and Wayne Offenbacker of Brasstown, North Carolina; by her nieces Sarah Offenbacker and Hannah Wade (Josh); by her nephews, Michael Offenbacker, and Aaron Offenbacker (Rileigh).
An informal memorial gathering is planned for 2:00 PM Saturday, July 5 at the Bobcat Room of the Rosemeade Recreation Center, 1330 East Rosemeade Parkway, Carrollton, TX 75007.
