

Maxine was born on December 4, 1934 in Louisville, Kentucky, a daughter of Chester Spink and Mabel (Watkins) Spink.
She married Lauren J. Fair Sr. on October 27, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky. He preceded her in death on September 15, 2010.
She is survived by daughter: Laura (husband Jeff) Cottongim of Richardson, Texas, son Lauren J. Fair Jr., of Plano, Texas and daughter: Lisa Schnitzius of Garland, Texas.
She is preceded in death by one son: Louis Jeff Fair who passed away in 1998.
Survived by Seven grandchildren and Seven great grandchildren.
Siblings: Sister: Geraldine Gordon, Brother: David Spink, Brother: Larry Spink, and Sister: Gloria Scheurich all of Louisville, Kentucky area.
She is preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Maxine was raised and attended Catholic elementary school in Louisville, Kentucky.
She attended Catholic High School in Louisville as well.
After high school, Maxine worked for an insurance company.
Later, she met her met her husband Lauren Fair and they married in 1957 while he was in the military. She supported him while in the military and raised their family.
In more recent years, Maxine was a parishioner at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Plano.
Maxine loved her flower garden, and always had a garden near her wherever she lived.
She also greatly enjoyed reading.
Her greatest passion was being with her children, grandchildren, and all of her family.
A private family graveside service will be held at Plano Mutual Cemetery in Plano, Texas where she will be laid to rest with her husband Lauren Fair and her son
Ted Dickey Funeral Home in Plano, Texas has charge of arrangements.
