Michael Francis Miler, age 73, of Plano, TX passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his wife and son on April 19, 2014. He was born in Hayfield, MN on June 27, 1940 to Wayne and Frances Ross Miler. They both preceded him in death. He worked for the Boy Scouts of America (Circle 10) as the Director of Support Services. Michael spent his whole life helping others become their utmost best. He married Judith (Judy) Carlson on October 8, 1966 in South Saint Paul, MN, and together they had one son, Jon. Both Judy and Jon survive. A visitation for Michael is going to be held on May 2, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the library of the West Plano Presbyterian Church of which he was a faithful member. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will also take place on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at the church officiated by Rev. David Batchelder and Rev. Mathew Calvert. In addition to his wife and son, Michael is also survived by a brother, Richard and Mary Miler of Lake Tahoe, NV; brother, Dan and Mary Miler of Afton, MN; sister, Mary Jo Miceli of Plymouth, MN; sister-in-law, Pat Perro of Las Vegas, NV; mother-in-law, Florence Carlson Anderson of Woodbury, MN; and brother-in-law, Lance and Barbara Carlson of Woodbury, MN. In addition to his parents and father-in-law, Michael is also preceded in death by a brother, John Miler.
