

He was surrounded by many loved ones.
He is survived by his children and grandchildren. Rachel Webb (Billy III, Robert, Zachary, Sarah, and Nicholas), Danielle Arwick and Hans (Victoria, Andrew, Josie, and Daisy), Michelle Denny (Jordan, Jonathan, and Ruth), Laura Taylor, Andrew Soderlind and Rebekah (Ezekiel, Zion, and Elijah).
As well as his three brothers, nieces, and nephews. Steve Soderlind, David Soderlind (Heidi, Patrick, Renee, Jody, Daniel, Jonathan, Hannah, Elisabeth, and Joseph), Christopher Soderlind and Linda (Isaac).
With special acknowledgement to Mary Castle, his wife of 25 years and the mother to his five children.

Michael was born to John and Burnadeen Soderlind (both deceased) on November 24th, 1951. After graduating high school in Bloomington, MN in 1969, he enlisted in the United States Army. He served in the 101st Airborne Division. He received a Bronze Star for his actions during war time in Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1973.
Michael graduated college from Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, MN. Our father loved the Lord! Psalm 1 was one of his favorite chapters of the Bible. He was a man after God’s heart. Our neighborhood preacher, who spread the good news of Jesus Christ, often.
A carpenter, contractor, teacher, genius, and a humble man. The deep wealth of knowledge, guidance, and dad jokes will live on through his legacy. Gratitude was bestowed upon every public servant, fellow veteran, or active service member he spotted. A ‘’thank you for your service’’, and a handshake soon followed. It often led to a swap of stories, or another lifelong friend.
Michael John Soderlind will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at DFW National Cemetery on March 24th, 2025.
