Nancy "mom" you were such a special lady. I loved the times I spent with you. You made me feel like I had been a part of the Bishop family for ever, like we had known each other for more than just the 10 short years we did. It was so easy to just sit and talk with you. You will live on in our hearts always~ I love you and will miss you~ Heaven has a beautiful Angel to look over us all~

May the God of tender mercy (Psalms 83: 18) grant the family peace and comfort during this time of sorrow.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Dick and all the Bishops as you grieve the loss of Nancy here on earth. We were blessed by her kindness and will always remember her with love. We pray for your comfort and peace during this difficult time of sorrow and loss.

Grandma, my rock... thank you so much for all you have been in my life. When times were hard, you were there. When times were great, you were there. When no one else understood, you were there. I Love You so much. I will miss you every day until I see you again. Give Uncle Ric my love!

I will always smile when I think of Nancy.  From those first Bishop family game nights playing Uno (and strategically picking who we sat by), to all the years of friendship and love, she will always hold a special place in my heart.  I loved any time I could spend with Nancy and her family, inserting myself into every event I could.  But who could resist those meals, stories, sense of humor and so much love?!  She was and always will be one of my very dearest friends.  I still consider her family to be my extended family.  My heart goes out to all of them.  I am sure Nancy is busy visiting with my mom and all of her other friends and family.  I hope knowing that we will see her again will help ease the pain of her loss!

My condolences to you and your family upon the death of  Nancy. I recall the 1940 fun days when we double dated, and played everything in the streets of Flytown and at the Godman Guild.

I always considered you as one of my very best friends during those "growing up" years.  My thoughts and prayers are with you during these

Mom, I will always love you and miss you more. You were my second mom because mother-in-law was not how I felt you were to me. You were thoughtful in every way, always remembering every birthday, anniversary or special event in our lives. You took time to make sure each individual member of our family felt like they were special and held a special place in your heart. I will always remember the laughs we used to have, laugh until we choked and had tears streaming down our faces. And how about those spreads we used to put together? We could've started our own catering business with all the food we made. Parties with piñatas, music, pool parties, baptisms, you name it... we went all the way out. But that's the type of mom you were and you taught me a lot and I will be forever thankful and appreciative of what I inherited from you in how to treat people, with love and affection. You are all that the word "LOVE" encompasses. I'll miss you dearly from the bottom of my heart. I love MOM.

Nancy was a wonderful lady.  She truly did light up a room whenever she walked in. She will be dearly missed.

My sympathies to Dick, Tommy, Jimmy, Billy and their families. Nancy was the true definition of a Mothers Love. Every wonderful meal and dessert she prepared for family meals were made with love and her desire to bring her family together. May her beautiful spirit and selfless sacrifices live on forever in the hearts and lives of her sons, daughters-in-laws & grandchildren . Nancy, may you rest in peace and celebrate in paradise with your son Ric and your Mother & Father. Momma, you are so missed here. I relied on you so frequently in my life to comfort and console me. I know you are now enjoying being with your family in heaven. My Dearest Aunt Nancy, Today we ALL have heavy hearts to have learned that God has called you home. I sit here and know that growing up so close to you and your family has always been a true blessing. You always treated me and my siblings as one of your own grandchildren all of these years. For all of the countless memories of our family trips to Dallas and San Diego to visit you and Uncle Private, you always made us feel so special and a big part of your family. I will always remember your laugh and sense of humor! For everything you have done for us, I would like to say THANK YOU!
