Nanette Pinyard

Nanette Herrmann Pinyard was born on September 21, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Nan was the fourth child of Dr. Louis G. Herrmann and Marion Hermann. Nan married her husband, Pat, after graduating from college and together they spent nearly 40 years together. After settling in Plano, TX, Nan continued her career as a teacher in the Plano and Allen area for over 38 years. Upon retirement, Nan enjoyed traveling with family members and getting to spend time with her grandchildren. She was actively involved in her church and remained teaching as a substitute teacher during her retirement. She was also actively involved in her PEO Chapter FA after founding the chapter in 1977. She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Marion, her brother Robert, and her husband Pat. Nan leaves behind her children and their spouses, Geoff. Pinyard and wife Maureen, Dana Carter and husband Jeff, her brothers Dr. John Herrmann and wife Mary Jane, Dr. Kenneth Herrmann and wife Sally, and her sister-in-law Barbara Herrmann. “Nana” will be missed by her grandchildren Braden, Addison, Caleb, and Avery as well as by all of her friends that knew and loved her. There will be a memorial service at St. Philips Episcopal Church in Frisco, TX on Thursday April 28, 2016 at 4pm.
