Lala was a long time Plano resident. She is survived by her husband Jim Terry whom she wed April 23, 1966 and their son Jimmy Ray Terry Jr. both of Plano.
Lala was born to Josefina Garcia Alaniz and Juan Alaniz in Goliad, Texas. She was the oldest of nine children. She is also survived by her sister, Juana (Janie) Alaniz and brother Juan (Kan) Alaniz both of Midland, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lala was an amazing cook. She loved to cook for family and friends. She loved people and never met a stranger. Lala had tremendous love for all her family, but her husband and son were her life. That love and devotion was mutual and lasted until her last breath. She will be missed by all who knew her.
