Patricia Lou Blann of Plano, Texas passed away on Saturday, November 30th in Plano, Texas. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to all that knew and loved her. She was born on October 20, 1935 in Kansas City, Kansas to Arvid and Vera Barckley. Patricia loved to read, her favorites were mystery and horror novels, Stephen King in particular. She also loved scary movies. She was always ready for a good political debate and was fierce in her beliefs. She married her lifelong love, Kenneth Blann on her birthday, October 20, 1962.
Patricia worked as a librarian in the Plano Independent School district, then a non-profit organization until her retirement. Patricia is survived by her sons, Mark and Jon, her grandchildren Trenton, Hayley, Ella, and Tyler, her daughter-in-law Felicia Blann, her great granddaughter Melody and her beloved dog Riley. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth on August 25, 2000, and her parents, Arvid and Vera in 2001. She will be forever missed.
