Paul Alexander Williamson, born May 6, 1951 in Stamford, Connecticut, passed away in the early morning of November 15, 2025. He grew up in Darien, CT before life took him on a winding adventure through New Hampshire, New York, and eventually Texas. He especially loved his time at his east Texas lake house in Holly Lake Ranch, where the fishing was good and the friends were even better.
Paul leaves behind his wife of 46 wonderful, lively, adventure-filled years, Liz Williamson; his daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Phillip Rose; and his two granddaughters who kept him smiling, Brynleigh (13) and Aysleigh (10). He is preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Halpin, and his mother, Barbara Williamson, who no doubt greeted him with open arms.
Paul was a man of simple joys: fishing, goofy memes, and dad jokes that he delivered with absolute confidence—whether they were funny or not. He loved his work in the printing industry and, even after retirement, couldn’t quite give up working altogether. He stayed busy in retail and customer service, mostly because he genuinely liked people and enjoyed making their day a little better.
He adored his dogs—Rufus, Zandy, Mindy, and Luna, who surely met him at the rainbow bridge. And he leaves behind Peanut, who had finally, after all this time, decided Paul was pretty great.
Paul loved traveling, NCIS marathons, and trying new things, whether it was food, hobbies, or adventures. If someone needed help, he showed up—no questions asked. He was a devoted husband, a caring father, and a proud grandfather whose family meant everything to him.
Paul was always up for a good time, always ready with a joke, and always willing to lend a hand. He lived with kindness, curiosity, and a full heart. He will be missed more than words can say.
