Paul Gene Wright

Paul was born March 28, 1953, in Dallas, Texas to W.A. Wright and Dorothy Kyser Wright. Paul was an avid businessman and entrepreneur. He loved to travel, so long as his destination was a video poker machine in Shreveport, Las Vegas or Thackerville. He loved watching the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers.

He is survived by the loves of his life, his wife Pat of 51 years, his son, Jason, and his daughter-in-law Julie. He is also survived by his sisters Judy Daft, of Nashville, Polly Lance and brother-in-law Steve Lance of Krum, and his brother, Jerry Dale of Garland, numerous nieces and nephews, and his precious granddaughters Tristan and Hannah, who he absolutely adored. He is predeceased by his parents, grandparents, and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Ted Dickey Funeral Home, located at 2128 18th St, Plano, TX 75074.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Holy Savior Hospice Care.
