aged 86 of Plano, Texas died peacefully in her sleep in San Antonio on April 23, 2018. The youngest daughter of Matthew and Maria DiGrazia of Passaic, NJ, she was an honor student and attended Wheaton College in Norton, MA. After college Paula helped to break the glass ceiling as an account executive at Young & Rubicam and other advertising agencies in New York City at a time when Madison Avenue was dominated by men. She married William Maiberger from NYC and moved her family to Plano, Texas where she worked at Merit Energy and elsewhere in the oil and gas industry for many years. Family came first for Paula and she put her two children through the University of Texas and graduate school. She also enjoyed reading extensively and travelling internationally with her sisters, and was active in the church and community. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Catherine and Rose, also of Texas, with whom she was very close. She was a wonderful mother, wife, sister, aunt, and companion and will be greatly missed. Paula was predeceased by her husband William, and is survived by her son William, daughter Jennifer, six grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. A viewing will be held at the Ted Dickey Funeral Home East (2128 18th St., Plano, TX 75074) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday April 27th. Services will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Séton Catholic Church (3100 W. Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75023) on Saturday April 28th at 10:00 a.m., with a burial following at Restland Cemetery in Dallas.
