Campbell, in Cooleemee, North Carolina, where he grew up. Richard was a veteran of the Korean War
where he achieved the status of Sargeant and also was a P.O.W. Richard later married Linda
Eddleman of McKinney, Texas, in 1967 and adopted her two sons. Later that year he was blessed with another son whom he named after
his father (the late Clark Clifton Campbell) they then spent a life time together raising their family in
Plano, TX. Richard was a truck driver and a very hard worker. He worked for Yellow Freight Company for
about 25 years before his retirement. Richard loved shooting guns and watching western movies and TV
shows in his off time. Richard is survived by his wife; Linda Campbell, sons; David Campbell, Danny Campbell, and Clark Clifton
Campbell II. Richard is also survived by his sisters Ruth and "Pud," as well as by his granddaughters
Lindsay and Heather and his three great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Madison, and Matthew Dylan. Richard passed away on September 28, 2014.
