Robert was dearly loved by his wife of 58 years, Joyce; sons, Robert Jr. and his wife Janine, and Dustin L.; grandchildren Wesley and his wife Sarah, and Jena M.; great-grandchildren, Dylan I., Shannon E., and Owen T.; as well as friends and relatives.
Robert was veteran of the U.S. Navy. Always a car buff, Robert owned and operated an auto transmission business for 25 years in Maryland. After retiring, he relocated to Plano, Texas in 2002, and worked part-time for O'Reilly Auto Parts until 2016.
A visitation for Robert will be held Friday, April 12, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ted Dickey Funeral Home, 2128 18th Street, Plano, TX 75074. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM.
