

Robert Headroe, 58, passed away on January 13, 2026, in Plano, Texas. Born on February 24, 1967, in Fort Worth, Texas, Robert lived a life marked by dedication to his family, education, and community.
A proud Texan through and through, Robert pursued higher education with determination and purpose. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Education from the University of North Texas before going on to receive a Master of Science in Criminology from Clark Atlanta University. His academic achievements refl ected his commitment to understanding and improving the world around him.
Robert was known for his sharp sense of humor and strong-willed nature. Those who knew him best recognized the deep care he held for his family—especially his wife and children. He was a devoted husband to Sharolyn Plumlee Headroe and a loving father to his sons, Brandon Headroe and Evan Headroe. His loyalty and fierce love for his family were constants throughout his life.
A lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Robert’s passion for football was well known among friends and family. Whether cheering from the stands or from home, he brought the same intensity and enthusiasm to game day that he brought to every aspect of his life.
Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Faye Headroe. He leaves behind a legacy of strength, laughter, and unwavering devotion to those he loved most. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
The family has chosen to hold private services and is grateful for the love, support, and understanding shown during this time.
