Rollie L. Tesh

Rollie L. Tesh, age 75, arrived at the finish line in his life on Sunday, February 17th at Baylor Hospital in Plano, surrounded by family and friends. If you were blessed enough to know Rollie, you know this his life was filled with fun and laughter and creativity. Born on April 27, 1937 Rollie began his childhood in Coffeyville, Kansas. After graduating Field McKinley he attended Coffeyville Junior College. Rollie traveled the country, living in Kansas, Florida then finally settling in Texas. On June 2, 1978 Rollie married his soul mate, Frannie, which began a wonderful love story for over 35 years. Rollie;s diverse career path ended at Plano East High School – Athletic department where he looked forward to going every day until his passing. Rollie and Fran had a blended family. He is survived by Fran, their 7 children; Rollie Jr., Lisa Renee, Lori, Kaye, Donna, Lisa Carol and Bill. He has 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren…and only one jawbreaker named Jessica. (And we cannot forget Jake) Also survived by siblings; Dick, Shirley and Brent along with their spouses and children. He is also survived by CW and Marita Kendall, dear friends for many, many years.

Friends are invited to celebrate Rollie’s life on Thursday, February 21st at 4pm at Ted Dickey Funeral home at 2128 18th Street, Plano, Texas, 75074 Rollie had a big heart and an undying love for his family. Above all, he understood that life was a brief gift from God, and that it should be enjoyed to its fullest. His motto was: “Life is short, enjoy the moment for what it’s worth!”
