Rosemary is predeceased by her parents Carl and Mary (Rivoli) Giangreco. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Donald Davis, daughter Laura Stone and husband Robert of Garland, Texas; son Paul Davis and wife Kim of Lubbock, Texas; and son Michael Davis and wife Kimmy of Denver City, Texas. Rosemary is also survived by grandchildren Lauren, Lawrence and Lindsey Glass, Ryan Davis and John Michael Davis; sister Dorothy Bianchi and numerous nephews and nieces.
Rosemary received her Bachelor's Degree from Brockport State Teacher's College and her Master's degree from Syracuse University. She taught high school history and english for 4 years before staying at home to raise her three children. Rosemary was very involved in both school and community activities and always played an active part in her children's lives. She went into real estate and remained involved until her retirement.
A devoted Catholic, Rosemary was very involved with The Rosary Makers Group of St. Mark and looked forward to her monthly luncheons with her "Liver and Onions" group, which was made up of all her real estate friends.
Travel across the United States and abroad; especially Italy, created many memories through out her life. A life long interest in education, sports and those around her provided all of us with many interesting stories and conversations.
We will all miss our beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Her strength, wisdom and unconditional love have been the back bone of our family. She touched many lives and will never be forgotten.
A Rosary is scheduled for 5:30 pm Thursay (12/12/13), at Ted Dickey Funeral Home, where a Visitation will continue from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, 12/13/13 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church in Plano. Interment will follow in the Plano Mutual Cemetery.
