Ruth served in the U.S. Army. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by her sister Eleanor, daughter Judith, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sisters Doris and Virginia and her son Richard.
