Shannon Marie Newman Palmer was born on January 11, 1971 to Billy Edward Newman and Jodene Mills Newman. Shannon was born in Dallas, TX. Shannon was a licensed Dental Assistant and did so for many years until her illness made it to where she could not work anymore. Shannon loved the Dallas Cowboys. If you knew Shannon, you knew of her love for the Cowboys. Shannon also enjoyed country dancing as well as baking. Shannon was an excellent cake maker and enjoyed decorating them as well. Shannon also enjoyed making people laugh. She loved the sound of laughter being in the air. Shannon also loved being able to spend time with her daughter. She cherished the time that they were able to spend together the most. Shannon is survived by her daughter Jodie Lynn Palmer, as well as by her sisters, Fonda Newman, and Tressie and her husband Gary Rothenberg. Shannon is also survived by her nephew Tyler McEntyre and her nieces Erika and Ryan Rothenberg.
