Terrance Patrick O'Brien

Beloved son of the late Walter O'Brien and late Marion (McNulty); cherished brother of Marilyn (late Marcel) Ross, Phillip (Rosemary) O'Brien, Glenn (Leacy) O'Brien and the late Gary (Pauline) O’Brien and the late Marina (Bernie) Murray; loving husband of the late Rollande Simone (Chevalier); dear father to Kevin (Debbie) O’Brien, Patrick O’Brien and the late Timothy O’Brien; dearest grandfather of Matthew O’Brien, Maverick O’Brien and Megan O’Brien.

He grew up in Ottawa Ontario and often spoke of his paper route, playing football, hockey, curling and recently talking about the many medals he won in Snowshoe racing with Rollande. His joy for life was seen every day with a contagious smile.

He started and finished 30 plus years with Bell Canada, BNR, and Nortel. Where he made many lifelong friends during those many years.

Terry was a faithful member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Plano, TX. He also spent many occasions celebrating mass with family as well as enjoying the bi-annual Dallas visit with his cousin the Most Revered Arch-Bishop Brendan O’Brien.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ted Dickey Funeral Home, located at 2128 18th Street - Plano, Texas - 75074.

Cremation Rites will be accorded after the visitation.

His ashes will be laid to rest in Canada at a later date with his wife Rollande and son Timothy.
