Teresa “Terrie” Nolan passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 80. Lovingly known as Alfred’s Honey, Mom, Momma, Mother, Grandmommy, Mimi,Terrie, Comadre, Sis, and best friend, she was a woman of deep faith, remarkable strength, and extraordinary talent. She placed God first and family at the heart of everything she did.
Terrie had a gift for creating beauty and making others feel loved. She could paint, sew, crochet, embroider, arrange flowers, decorate a home, style hair, and prepare wonderful meals. With paint and stencils, she could transform old furniture into something special. Her green thumb could bring nearly any plant back to life. Her creativity was matched by an incredible work ethic and seemingly endless energy.
A social butterfly, Terrie loved people. She was a gracious host and loyal friend, thoughtful, generous, and always finding ways to give to others. She carried herself with elegance and class, always beautifully put together. Her warmth and spirit brought life to every gathering.
Insightful and deeply perceptive, Terrie often sensed when something was wrong before anyone said a word. She was attentive to the people she loved and courageous enough to speak the truth, even when it was difficult to hear. Her honesty came from love and her desire to see each person become all God intended them to be.
Faith was the foundation of her life. She believed in the power of prayer and continually reminded her family to pray, trust God, and seek His direction. Her prayers were a source of comfort and strength. Through her words and example, she taught her family to put God first and love one another faithfully.
Terrie’s love was expressed through countless acts of care. There was little she would not do for her family and friends. She gave generously of her time, talent, wisdom, and energy, showing up fully and consistently for the family and friends she cherished.
Small in stature but mighty in spirit, Terrie lived with grit, courage, determination, and a strong sense of what was right and just. She modeled resilience, responsibility, faith, and fierce devotion to family. Her influence will endure in the way they care for their families, speak truth with love, pray for their children, and show up for others.
Though heartbroken by her passing, her family finds peace in knowing she is free from pain, fully restored, and reunited with her beloved husband, Alfred Nolan. They will carry her wisdom, faith, and unconditional love as they learn to navigate life without her physical presence.
Terrie is survived by her three children: Adam Nolan (Angela Nolan), Lisa Nolan Hafner (Wayne Simms), and Theresa Nolan Williams (Todd Williams); six grandchildren: Destini Nolan True (Zach True), Adam Nolan II (Elizbeth Nolan), Desiree Nolan (Micah Martinkus), James Nolan (Ari Robles), Hayden Williams (Kirsten Williams), and Nolan Williams; nine great-grandchildren: Dylan Nolan-Dean, Ariel Nolan-Dean, Elliette Jensen, Colton True, Charlie True, Juliette True, Henry True, Millie Nolan, and Hazel Nolan; and one great-great-grandchild, Milo Nolan-Dean.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rita Serrano; her sister, Yolanda Ybarra; and her loving husband, Alfred Nolan.
Her family will forever be grateful that she was their mother and Grandmommy. Her memory is etched in their hearts, and her legacy will live on through every life she touched.
“Thank you, Momma, for teaching us, supporting us, believing in us, praying for us, and loving us so fiercely. You will always be a part of us until we see you again.”
