Relocating from Canada at the age of 13, Tim embraced his transition to Plano, Texas with friends, family, lacrosse and hockey.
An avid Toronto Maple Leaf fan, he could also be found at an occasional Stars game and always made time for Dallas Cowboys football.
He was passionate about his rescues and was the best father a four legged friend could have.
Thanksgiving and Christmas were his favorite times of year, spending special moments with his daughter building traditions.
He also looked forward to the cooler weather and loved fireside time with his family.
Tim found his lifelong career with Nortel and Ericsson; technical on the outside, he had a sensitive core and built lifelong relationships in the industry.
Beloved father to Megan Taylor Love O'Brien, son of the late Rollande Chevalier, he is also survived by his father Terrance O'Brien and dear brothers Kevin and Patrick O'Brien of Plano and nephews Matthew and Maverick O'Brien.
