Lynn's Family attended The First Christian Church, in Fort Worth. On February 20", 1944. Lynn made his confession of Faith and was Baptized.
Grew up in Fort Worth, moved to Dallas in 1951, resided Oak Cliff, in Irving, then Cedar Creek Lake, and finally in Little Elm, Texas.
Passed into the Hands of his Heavenly Father on September 19, 2020
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, W. E. {Bill) Jarvis and Mattie M Jarvis; his 2 brothers, Donald E Jarvis and H. Duane Jarvis, both talented architects.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Barbara G Jarvis, his 4 children, William Bryan Jarvis, Eric Ray Jarvis, Amy Leanne Corry, and Kelly Ruth Jarvis. He leaves also a legacy of 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren with one more on the way and 2 stepsons Matt and Clay Elledge
Lynn grew up in Fort Worth, graduated from Polytechnic High School, a Graduate
of SMU. He spent his total adult working years with his Father at The Jarvis Press, where he started at the bottom, and eventually became President and Owner. Today, The Jarvis Press is owned by one of the largest printing firms in the US, and enjoys a reputation for quality and dependability.
Lynn was drafted in 1956 and completed his 6 year obligation at Fort Ord, California, and the US Army Reserves in Dallas. He had fond memories of the experiences.
He loved to play golf, and did so almost daily with his "noon group" when living at Cedar Creek Country Club. It was 20 years of fellowship and good times with like-minded friends
