

Yu-Fang Ong was born on June 14, 1938 in Beijing, China to her mother, Guey-Ju Wong, and her father, General Yuen-San Chang. Yu-Fang, known as Mary, earned her undergraduate degree in home economics from Shih Chien University in Taipei, Taiwan. Yu-Fang was a devoted mother, homemaker, and art dealer of Chinese watercolor paintings. She enjoyed cooking delicious Chinese food for her family and friends, playing mah-jong, and spending time with her three granddaughters. Yu –Fang is survived by her son, Chester Ong, his wife, Lisa, their daughter, Madison; her daughter, Grace Ong-Yan, her husband, Albert Yan, their daughters Lucy and Evelyn; and her husband, Robert Kung. In addition, she is survived by her sister, Yu-Chuen Chang of Toronto, her sister, Yu-Shiou Chang of Dallas, and her brother, Lo-San Chang of Greenville, South Carolina. Yu-Fang passed away at the age of 75 on August 24, 2013 in Plano, Texas and will be buried at York Cemetery in Toronto, Canada. A visitation will be held at Ted Dickey Funeral Home on August 24, 2013 from 3-5 pm.
