Cothron, Andrew C. “Shorty”88, passed away August 6, 2012 in Plant City. He was born in Winter Haven, FL. on Oct. 14, 1923 to Andrew C. and Dora L. (Harvey) Cothron. He drove trucks his whole life and was retired from Seafood & Mariner Distributors. Shorty was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church in Plant City.
He is survived by five sons, Hayward (Gail), Gary (Chere), Kenneth (Melinda), Mike (Dorie), and Allen Cothron, his former wife, Lorraine Cothron, 11 grandchildren, and several great -grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gail Cothron, two sisters, and one brother.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday Aug. 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Wells Memorial & Event Center. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6 - 8 PM at Wells. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.
