

Anne was proud to be a descendant of one of the families that settled in Florida in 1793. Although her roots were firmly planted in Florida, she was born in Vincennes, Indiana, during World War II while her father was stationed at Fort Benjamin Harrison before being deployed overseas.
Anne was the beloved daughter of the late Samuel G. Harrison Jr. and Bertha Byron Harrison. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of more than 50 years, Roger Edward Mitchell, as well as her younger brother, Samuel G. Harrison III.
Anne is survived by her three sons, Thomas Mitchell (the late Kim Mitchell), Roger L. Mitchell (Shannon), and William Mitchell (Catrena). She also leaves behind her five cherished granddaughters: Carson Mitchell-Everett (Kent), Olivia Mitchell, Abigail Mitchell, Naomi Mitchell, and Kellan Mitchell.
She is also survived by her sister, Susan Harrison Sargeant; her sisters-in-law, Barbara Harrison and Anita Bills; and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Anne’s visitation will be held at Wells Memorial Funeral Home, 1903 West Reynolds Street, Plant City, FL 33563, US, on July 11, 2026, from 10am to 11am, followed by the funeral service at the same location on July 11, 2026, at 11am
