

Anthony "Tony" Zaccaro, 80 passed away on August 31, 2010 in Plant City. Tony was born on April 15, 1930 in the Bronx, New York and moved to Florida in July of 1972. He was an electrician for the City of Tampa. Tony was an avid bowler and loved hunting with his family and friends. He was also a member of the Plant City YMCA as well as the Turkey Creek Masonic Lodge # 248. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Bobbie Zaccaro; sons: Robert Zaccaro (Pat) and Buddy Zaccaro (Debbie); brother: Vincent Zaccaro (Ann); sister: Rita Taranto (Frank); grandchildren: Jessica (Jeff), Nick (Megan), Michael, Anthony, Monica, and Shelbi; great-granddaughter: Jolene, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services will take place Friday, September 3, 2010, at Wells Memorial Funeral Home with a visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. and a funeral service starting at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Marc Mashburn officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to LifePath Hospice.
