HANCOCK, Audrey A., age 95, of Dover, FL passed away on May 17, 2015 in Plant City, FL. Audrey moved to Florida from Dodge Co., Georgia in 1922. She and her husband were farmers. Audrey attended Dover Pentecostal Holiness Church, was a Deaconess, a Sunday school teacher and sang in her church choir.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Dan Hancock; and sons: Jimmy and Daniel Hancock. Survivors include son, Joseph E. Hancock; daughter-in-law, Patsy Knight; four grandchildren: Sherry Staggs, Jack Hancock, Jamie Hancock, Wayne Hancock; five great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be May 21, 2015, 11am at Wells Memorial Funeral Home in Plant City, FL. Visitation will begin at 10am. Burial will follow at Dover First Baptist Cemetery, Dover, FL.
