Carol was 84 and lived an active life which included being a published poet and an 18 wheel truck driver. She was a graduate of the Police Academy of Massachusetts and a Police Officer in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. She was also a seamstress, cook and server for a family at Bald Peak Colony Club, New Hampshire. She worked with Jean Gray making jewelry throughout Florida including the Strawberry Festival. She also worked the Security for a motor home repair company.
In addition to those, she was also a mother to four children; Wanza Rico of Clovis, New Mexico, Roxanne Rico of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, John Rico of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire and Verne Rico of Mousen, Massachusetts. She had two half sisters; Ginny Jefferies and Linda Ferst of Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Mrs. Thomas passed away from hypotensive shock and gastrointestinal bleed'
She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
