Cecil E. Johnson, age 73 of Plant City passed away on February 21, 2012. Mr. Johnson was a member of Mt. Zion Assembly of God Church and Big Bear Camplands in West Virginia. Cecil was a retired truck driver with Winn Dixie.
He is predeceased by his parents: Franklin and Pearlie Johnson, and one daughter, Carla Ann Johnson, and a brother, Franklin F. Johnson.
Survivors include his wife Bernice; his sons: Travis Johnson of Texas and George Steimer (Stephanie) of New York; his daughter: Jennifer Steimer of New York; two grandchildren: Emma Grace Steimer and Joshua Thomas Steimer.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wells Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Wells Memorial Chapel with Reverend Carlos Ramirez officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
