Cecil Wayne (Reburn) Seay, 35 passed away to be with our Lord, unexpectedly, Thursday, September 9, 2021 due to heart complications. He was not alone during his passing, but was with one of his closest friends, celebrating at the first Buccaneers game of the year at the stadium.
He was born on March 4, 1986 and was raised in Trenton, Florida.
Cecil is survived by his daughter Raegan Rose Seay, fiancée Kendall Nickerson and her two sons Joshua Jr. and James, mother and father Saundra and Bobbie Reburn, siblings Matthew Reburn, Bobbie Reburn, Hillary Patrick and Victoria White and their spouses, along with many beloved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Rose and Walter Smith.
Cecil graduated from Bell High School, where he was part of the JROTC program as well as the Raiders Team. He later moved to Tampa, Florida to attend Trinity College of Florida and Southeastern University.
Cecil will be remembered for being an energetic entrepreneur of several business ventures, including Take Out Hero in Lakeland, Fl and the latest, Heroes Wallet, focused on giving back to deserving local heroes and businesses. He loved the Florida Gators, the Tampa Bay Bucs, a good round of golf, anything Batman, and was an avid wrestling fan.
Most importantly Cecil was an amazing father and his greatest love was making memories with his daughter/best friend Rae Bae.
Cecil was a true character full of life, laughter and love, he will be eternally missed by all who knew him.
The funeral service will be held at Baylife Church in Brandon, Florida on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 beginning at 12 p.m. A visitation/viewing time will begin at 11 a.m.
The attire will be casual but please consider wearing his team colors.
