Before my mom's most recent move, she lived next to Charlie and Gayle in Lakeland, and she thought the world of them. Every time I talked to her, she'd mention them and say how much she liked them. I know Charlie did a few maintenance-repair kind of things for my mom, which she always appreciated. My siblings and I were sorry to learn of his passing. I never met him, but the way my mom talked about him, I'm sure he was a good guy.

I worked with Charlie in the Building Service Dept. I always enjoyed being around Charlie with his upbeat and positive attitude. Most of all I enjoyed sharing our mutual love for Jesus Christ and what it meant to be a follower of Him.
Charlie was a very hard worker and really appreciated his job at TECO.
I know he will be greatly missed by all of you.
His Friend,

My most vivid memories of Charlie is of his incredible work at Choestoe Valley R V Park. He was always doing something for someone. He really gave of himself for everyone else. I helped him opening all the water faucets for the health department several times to make sure the water was safe. I will forever remember his acts of kindness. I am so happy I got to see him this summer.

Rest In Peace my friend. I will miss you!
