Charles J. Nieves, age 95, of Lakeland, Florida went peacefully on Saturday, September 3, 2022. Charles was born in New York, New York.

Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 75 years, Olga Nieves; his daughter Sandralea James; his son Charles J. Nieves Jr.; and his son Jonathan C. Nieves.

6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service with military honors for Charles will be held Friday, October 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, Florida 34241.

Charles will be laid to rest in Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, Florida 34241.
