Dannie devoted his life to his family and his faith, raising his children with love and patience. He enjoyed the outdoors, collecting treasures, taking pictures, saving turtles, spending time with family and friends. His smile could light any room.
Dannie is survived by his children, Amber N. Jones (Steven); Douglas E. Bennett and Heidi N. Kirkland as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brothers J. David Bennett (Linda) and Robert M. Bennett. He was proceeded in death by his brother Ronald S. Bennett.

A visitation will be held Thursday, May 28, 2026, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service to immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. at Wells Memorial in Plant City, Florida. There will be a committal ceremony at Shiloh Cemetery, Plant City, Florida following the services.
