Dava Wright

Heaven got a little more crowded on Monday, July 27, 2026, as Dava Louise Fulwood Wright Lakeland, Florida made her way home. She was 86 and a member of Southwest Church of Christ. After battling heart disease and cancer she was healed. She was born in Miami, Florida and left The Good Shepherd Hospice House in Lakeland, Florida. Dava loved to fish, loved feeding the birds, she loved plants and spent many years at K&K Nursery, also even did Zumba for a while when she lived in Tennessee. Dava loved her family so much! Sweetest most precious woman you’d ever know. Will be missed terribly! She is preceded in death by her husband Windel Wayne Wright Sr, her father George W Fulwood, mother, Mary Louise Exum Fulwood, Plant City, Florida, twin brother David Fulwood, (Delrece) Cayce, South Carolina, baby sister, Janet Fulwood Goodson, (Don) Balm, Florida, brother Terry Fulwood, Tampa, Florida. Survived by siblings, Annette Lott (Jimmy) JW Fulwood, Ronnie Fulwood, Mary Jo Ausburn (Roger) daughters, Carol Hansen (Leroy) Delano, Tennessee Marie Yale (Mike) Lakeland, Florida, Pam Wright (June) Louisville, Tennessee, son, Wayne Wright Jr and her Yorkie Ava, Lakeland, Florida. Grandchildren Michael Hansen (Meta) Etowah, Tennessee, Ricky Hansen (Michelle) Buffalo Valley, Tennessee, Tina Yale Freitag (Josh) Tampa, Florida, Maggie Wright Persell (Tucker) Temple Terrace, Florida, Molly Wright Plant City, Florida. Great Grandchildren, Mackenzie Hansen Dixon (Colton) Delano, Tennessee, Brycen Hansen, Athens, Tennessee Braylin & Rylin Hansen Buffalo Valley, Tennessee. Great, Great Grandchildren, Ryder & Axel Dixon. Dava has a host of cousins, nieces & nephews that she loved very much. Special thanks to Dori Fulwood for loving mom so much. Services will be held at Wells Memorial & Event Center August 13, 2026, 1903 W Reynolds Street Plant City, Florida at 11 a.m. for the visitation and 12 p.m. funeral service. Graveside service will immediately follow at First Thonotosassa Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery 10650 McIntosh Rd Thonotosassa, Florida. Family & Friends Gathering will take place after Graveside Service at church on premises.
