Derek and his family have lived in Plant City for 19 years.
Derek is survived by his wife Lynn, his son Bailey, his brother Kent, sister-in-law Debbie, his brother Kirk, sister-in-law Rhonda, nephews Anthony, Parker, Brody, and niece Mia.
Derek had many accomplishments in life from being a Pro Motocross rider to being a baseball umpire to owning his own thriving lawn business for over 10 years, but what really mattered in his life was his walk with Jesus Christ and the knowledge and wholehearted love he passed on to everyone he talked to.
Derek was a loving husband to his wife Lynn and a great role model to his son Bailey. He is now with his mom and twin brother Daryl waiting on all of his family and friends to join him in everlasting life.
Derek was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him but we know he is home.
