Doris Headen

She is the eldest daughter of George Edward Kimsey and Helen Marie Mason of Cherokee and Cree Indian decent. Mrs. Headen was married to Ernest Franklin Headen for 55 years. She had four (4) children; Ernest Miles Headen, Cheryl Lynne Headen and David Allan Headen, Jackie Eugene Kimsey; she leaves behind four (4) siblings: Loretta Howell, Regina Lou Fox, Theda Jayne Woodyard and Candler Kimsey.

Mrs. Headen met her husband on Valentines day and married him three (3) months later, traveled all over the world and the United States living in many places she visited. Her favorite foreign country was Saudi Arabia where she lived twice for a total of about 4 years. Was a professionally trained waitress in the 1960's, interior decorated, sold time shares in Branson, MO. But mostly she was "the Momma" she was totally devoted to her husband and children and took care of us all.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Wells Memorial. Services will be on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at Wells Memorial and Event Center. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. and interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
