Ethel Tillman Walker, age 88, of Plant City, FL, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2012. She was born on October 3, 1923 in Alva, FL to Alvin and Lillian Palow Tillman. She was a Sergeant in the United States Army in charge of the Mess Hall.
Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Morgan Walker, daughter, Patsy Walker Dean, four sisters, Artie Proctor, Effie Dye, Virginia Palan, and Thelma Ard. She is survived by one son, Dennis Walker and wife Renae of Plant City, FL; one sister, Myrtie Norris of North Carolina, 7 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation with family will be 6 pm to 8 pm on Friday, March 16, 2012 at Wells Memorial Chapel with a funeral service at 11 am on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Turkey Creek First Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Turkey Creek Cemetery.
