SMITH, Evelyn Shearin, 85, of Plant City, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. Mrs. Smith was the secretary to the Principal of Tomlin Jr. High School for 21 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dewitt Smith and is survived by her daughter, Pamela Smith Valdes, twin granddaughters, Kelli and Krista Valdes, sister Betty Ann Pemberton and brother, James Milo Shearin.
The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm, with a funeral service at 2pm on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at The 1st United Methodist Church, 303 N. Evers Street, Plant City, FL 33563.
