Faustine Marie Price

Faustine Marie Price, 91, of Plant City, Florida, died at approximately 6:30pm, Thursday, October 24, 2019. She was born in Chester, Georgia on April 23, 1928 to Eulie and Ida Barron. She was the 5th of 8 children and was the first of the three girls. During the depression, times were hard and the family eventually moved to Florida. They ended up in Plant City, the town where she lived the remainder of her adult life, the majority of which was in the same house.

Her faith in God anchored and guided her. Her bible is well worn and was always close by her side. She had many jobs and vocations over her lifetime and she even went back to school to get her associates degree, but her most valued job was the raising of her six children. She was an amazing woman that loved her family, a family that has grown to include 19 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 13 great great-grandchildren and too many nieces and nephews to count.

After the children were grown and having families of her own, visits and phone calls were important to her and would go something like this...”Hi sugie-bugie, I’m doing mighty A-OK fine.” If you had something you were puzzling over she’d always say “do what you want to do if you know it.” She knew that the confidence to do the right thing was within us. If she was thinking about you and felt like it was too long since she saw or talked to you last, you’d get the checking in, checking out call.

Her answer to I love you was always I love you more, and every call ended with “love you bye.” Last Thursday she got her last call to go to heaven, and I know she’d say to us that she is doing A-OK mighty fine and she is watching over us knowing we can do what we want to do if we know it. I just wish I could get one more checking in, checking out call so I could say I love you the most, love you bye.

Friends and family are invited to the visitation scheduled at 10:00 am, October 30, 2019, with services immediately following at 11:00 at Wells Memorial Center in Plant City, Florida. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents Eulie and Ida, her brothers Marvin, Bud, Jack, and Calvin, and her sisters Dolly and Ruby, her husband Bill, her daughters Donna and Debbie, her grandson Mike, and her great-granddaughter Gracie.

She is survived by her sons Kenny, Tony (Elaine), and Roy (Kim), and her Daughter Cindy (Jim) and her brother Gene (Tisha).

Grandchildren Kate, Jake, Josh, Raven, Steve, Rudy, Sean, Rachel, Marcella, Ben, Robinette, JR, Carl, Kristina, Janice, Billy, Kristi, and Tammie.

Great grandchildren Stephani, Brittany, Sean, Zachary, Dustin, Yasmeen, Mia, Addison, Alexa, Elijah, Aiden, Danika, Meadow, Chaemen, Alyssa, Aaron, Joshua, Samantha, Hannah, Elijah, Joshua, Nolan, Brittany, Leamon, Drayden, Shailyn, Christopher, Kyle, Cherystal, Courtney, Corey, Rihanna, Alexis, Dominic, Tadashi and Taisetsu.

Great great grandchildren Emily, Olivia, Kalicia, Rayna, Landon, Kolbrun, Kayzlee, Atiana, Aarron, DeZageo, Aaliyah, Joshua, and Raelynn.
