

Pace, Grover Glenn, 67, of Plant City, Florida went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 13, 2015 after a heroic battle with cancer and prolonged illness at South Florida Baptist Hospital (SFBH). He was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Willis & Alma Pace of Hendersonville, NC.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Miriam C. Pace, his son, Greg Pace; daughter, Peggy Tittle and seven grandchildren. He served 6 years in the U.S. Air Force at Offutt AFB in Nebraska, achieving the rank of S.SGT. He retired from General Electric in Hendersonville, NC in 2004. He and his wife, Miriam, moved to Florida in 2006. He attended the Dover Pentecostal Holiness Church where he served as a musician(guitarist); Director of the Golden Heirs Seniors' Program and served as Chairman of the Escort Committee at SFBH. he was a compassionate and loyal caregiver to his wife's parents, Rev. James and Ethelene Stuart until their passing in 2013. He had a passion for southern gospel and bluegrass music; enjoyed his home recording studio, fishing and a previous hobby as a certified Amateur Radio Operator.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015, 11:30am at Dover Pentecostal Holiness Church 14150 Holiness Church Rd Dover, FL 33527. Fellowship with the family and friends with lunch immediately following. Interment will be held at a later date in Hendersonville, NC.
