Irma Mae Proctor, 85, of Plant City, entered into eternal rest on February 22, 2021. She was born on May 2, 1935 in Plant City, Florida to Ernest and Ochella Lodge Mills. The most important things to her in life were her children and family. She was known for her infectious smile and was a “people person”. To know her was to love her and she was loved by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 57 years, Raymond C. Proctor. She is survived by her son; Raymond Proctor, Jr. (Kim); daughters, Patricia Brown (Jerry), Barbara Kennett (Jim), Linda Brock (Rubin), Tina Garrison (Joe); 11 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Wells Memorial Funeral Home, 1903 W. Reynolds Street, Plant City, Florida 33563. Interment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery in Plant City.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, The Shriner’s Hospital or LifePath Hospice.
