Condolences go out to the Davis family and all of Jimmy’s friends. I first met Jimmy when I was 9 years old. He stopped by our house in a shiny new corvette and he brought Jamie with him. My dad Tom had worked for him in Zephyrhills back in the 1970’s and they became lifelong friends. I worked for him in the 1990’s and he taught me how to hustle and what it meant to work hard and earn an honest day’s pay. “Gotta grade them strawberries, Sean”. It was hard work, and at the end of the day Jimmy and I always enjoyed having a Michelob (or two or three or four). Jimmy was always generous and would not hesitate to give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Good times were had, and lots of memories and lifelong friends were made along the way. You will be missed sir!
