Joan is preceded in death by husband, James Alton Fletcher and son, James Richard Howell. Family who survive include daughters: Cyndee (Joe) DellaValle, Debbie (Ben Hill) Griffin, Virginia (Rick) Weber, Rina (Bob) Korfman; son, Tom (Joana) Howell; daughter-in-law, Connie Howell; sisters: Dot (Ken) Davis, Dale (Dick) Brady, Karen (Jerry) Humphreys; grandchildren: Jamie (Karla) Spivey, Chris Spivey, Mark (Karen) Spivey, Tory Howell, Matthew (LoraLee) Jeter, Bailey Jeter, Amanda Phillips; and 11 great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be on Friday, September 25, 2015, 1:30pm at Wells Memorial in Plant City, FL. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Springhead Cemetery.
