Joaquin Rivera Gallegos, 73, of Dover passed away on December 26, 2024. He was born in Monterrey Mexico to Fransisco and Julia Rivera Gallegos. Joaquin traveled to the United States in 1976 and eventually made it to Florida where he met and married his wife of 43 years, Maria (Conde).
Together they had 3 children Ramiro, Julia (Douglas Shinn) and Joaquin Jr. and had 6 grandchildren (Trinity, Chloe, Juan, Ashley, Aiden, and Fransisco). Joaquin was the embodiment of hard work and perseverance, working for the same construction company for 30 years, he lived his life for his family, while never forgetting his parents and 8 brothers and sisters in Mexico, Joaquin traveled frequently to visit them. He will always be remembered as having a humble and loving heart for all of his family and will be greatly missed.
Celebration of Life Services will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025 from 5pm to 8pm, with family gathering at Samantha's Social Hall in Plant City. In lieu of flowers, donations can made be https://act.alz.org
