Jody Dex Gleason

Jody Dex Gleason, age 3 months, of Lakeland, Florida passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021. Jody was born May 21, 2021. While only on this earth for 3 months everyone who had the opportunity to meet him just fell in love with him. He especially loved his family who held him every chance they could. Joined in death with his father Justice Gleason, mother Theresa Toney Lanham and maternal grandmother Catherine Toney Delgado. Preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather Joe Lee Gleason. Jody leaves behind his two sisters Aubrey and Brendal Gleason, and brother Bentley Gleason. Paternally, Grandmother Pamela Ingle Freeman, his two uncles, Rod Desso and Troy Ray Gleason, along with five cousins. Great Uncle (Denny) Curt, Great Aunt Lori Harris, and three 2nd cousins. Maternally, Grandfather Paul Lanham, Aunt Christine “Chrissy” Lanham (Jennie Schmelzer), Jarrod Landham and several great aunts, uncles, and cousins. A gathering of family & friends for Jody will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Wells Memorial and Event Center, 1903 West Reynolds Street, Plant City, FL 33563, followed by a celebration of life from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
