Joel Ernest Walden

He was a lifelong member of Mt. Zion Assembly of God and was a Dairy Farmer. He was predeceased by his parents; Harvey and Janelle, and his sisters; Carolyn and Ann Churchwell.

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Alva Janette West Walden; three daughters, Rhoda Rogers (Mitch), Norma Wilson (Lamar), and Marian Walden; two sons, Robert Walden and Phil Walden; brother, Roy Walden; grandchildren, Mitchell Rogers, Kora Varney, Robert Lee, Carmen Pippin (Justin), Heather Wilson, Blane Layton (Brooke), Marissa Warren (Matt), Amanda Sapp (Richard, Jr.), Coy Walden, Coby Walden (Priscilla), Kelsey Walden, Jamie Walden, Brittany Walden and Ben Walden, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter, and many other extended family members and friends.

A private family visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9th, 2020 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Wells Memorial Funeral Home, 1903 W. Reynolds Street, Plant City, FL 33563 and a Graveside Service will take place on Friday, April 10th, 2020 at Sunset Memory Gardens, Thonotosassa, FL at 11:00 a.m.
