RHODES III, John R., age 73 passed away on May 3, 2015 in Plant City, Florida. John was a disabled US Navy veteran and a member of the First Baptist Church Dover. He was a barber and loved tinkering with old cars, watching old westerns on the television and volunteering at this church.
Loving family who survive are wife of 48 years, Virginia E. Rhodes; son, John R. Rhodes IV (Elizabeth); three brothers: Kenneth Rhodes (Karen), David Rhodes, Derwood Rhodes (Trish); and two grandchildren: John R. Rhodes V and Landon Rhodes.
A funeral service will be on Saturday, May 9, 2015, 11am at First Baptist Church Dover. Family will receive friends at 10am at the church. Burial will follow at First Baptist Dover Cemetery.
